Noble Imposter Discussion
I thought some people might like to discuss Noble Imposter (here in the comments) so I made this post. If you have any questions about it (Or Precisely Terminated!) I'd be happy to answer them as long as they aren't spoilers for the last book.
Now I'll start the discussion (Major spoiler for Noble Imposter!!) Don't read if you don't want it spoiled.
Did any of you guess that Monica's mother was alive or was it a total surprise?
I'm going to have a lot of fun writing their meeting in the third book . . . if they do get to meet. :) You'll see. You can never guess what's going to happen in these books.

No, I didn't guess that at all. I went, "What!?" Was there a hint somewhere?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. All the way back in the first chapter of Precisely Terminated when Faye asks Joel why Rose wasn't there. :) There are others, too.
DeleteI had a feeling she was alive. And when Simon traslated the page and a half that Monica read (before Simon said she was alive at the end) I knew that she was alive
ReplyDeleteYay =)
DeleteNope, I was totally surprised :)
ReplyDeleteHehe, I'm sort of glad that I can surprise people with elements in my writing, you know? It makes me feel like I did my job right.
DeleteI was pretty darn sure that she was still alive, though Monica's reaction to finding that out was still very touching =)
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased to hear that. I often wonder how my scenes are coming across, because I've never been very experienced on the emotional side of things, but I just wrote a scene in book 3 that made me tear up, so maybe I'm getting better.
DeleteIn the first book I thought she was alive but I was not sure but then in the 2nd one I diced that she was not only to be surprised
ReplyDeleteI kinda thought that to
DeleteI was pretty surprised, though after I read it I was like "Oh! That does make sense!" Though for me, it was mostly because of the chip cloning research, which I thought was somehow connected. (I don't remember why I thought it was connected . . . I need to reread the book and figure it out.)
ReplyDeleteI wrote a review on amazon about ccb1
