Editing, Editing, Editing

That's all I'm doing right now.

Not much going on besides that. Just a few things here and there.

At least I get to wear cool socks whilst I edit.

Here's a couple of paragraphs from Noble Imposter - Still a rough draft, subject to change, but I like it. :)

The soft whisking noises from scrub brushes scuffled from beneath tightly closed doors. Whispers that only a trained wall slaves’ ear could pick up danced through the halls as Monica hurried along.

As she darted by the main school room door, her heart ached. The wall slaves, hard at work as always, their noises so familiar to her, yet now so foreign. Would she ever be able to free them? Everything seemed so fruitless—from the making of friends with the Nobles, to the mission for the tablet. Would she ever get to see the computers that held them all captive?

Home At Last

We arrived home late on November 19th, so we've been home for awhile now, but I've been rather busy.

When we arrived home, we unpacked and took inventory of all our books and did a lot of sorting through receipts so we could enter all of our expenses in a spreadsheet. That took us a day and a half by itself.

After that my brother and his wife arrived from Florida to visit us over Thanksgiving weekend. We had a lot of fun visiting with them and hanging out.

Thanksgiving wasn't eventful. My 5 cousins and my aunt and uncle came over, and my brother and his wife from Florida were here and my other brother and his wife were visiting from where they live, and my parents and sisters, and grandfather (who lives with us) were here as well for a total of 17 people. Pretty full house. We had to have the necessary 'Kids' table. Which I am no longer a part of. ;)

Since then I've been editing Noble Imposter!

Not Much to Report

People are probably going to stop reading this blog because it's so dull. Once we're home from the tour I hope to update more with more interesting reports.

Hello from North Carolina!

Hello from North Carolina!

We spoke in Georgia last night and I got to see my friends Kate, Amy, Ruth, Rebekah, and Sarah. It was great seeing them again, I don't get to see them often enough.

Today we talked twice at one school and will speak there again this evening, hopefully to the parents. We'll see who actually comes out and sees us. After school events often aren't well attended. Who wants to go back to school after they've been there all day?

In Florida!

We're in Florida, and I'm so glad. I really enjoy seeing all the live oak trees and Spanish moss. Spanish moss that is technically, neither Spanish or moss, but I still like it.

Tomorrow we have two events, and I have a radio, so as always, this will be a short numbers update.
